Sometimes I like to study the intricate details of Rob Flint

Work in progress

I am exploring elegance, particularly English elegance. I have a poodle with my lovely lady silhouette because I find poodles to be such a strange concept, their hair all done up so they look almost alien..

Closer observation

slightly closer.

Creating the perfect silhouette

I am looking into the decoration of the body, so by taking away the detail of the person, and making them into a silhouette, it gives me chance to play around with the decoration. I shall upload a closer, more detailed picture later.

It has been unleashed!

Sorry about the iphone quality pics, my camera is dead. I hung my work in the Atrium stairwell at university, so nervous, hope my tutor enjoys it. Seeing as it is my own Dorian Gray, I didn't want it to be all exposed, so I covered it with a curtain, but you could still see it when you looked in from the side, would be a waste to cover all that hard work!

Chris Anthony=delicious

My friend Jodhi Needs-Ham introduced me to a website called cgunit, its awesome! it has all the kind of artists i like on it, so i had a right rummage. I found photographer/artist Chris Anthony, I believe i saw his work at the new world art gallery in Bristol, but i may of just made that up in my head.
Anyway, his photographs are haunting and murky. The girl with the stripey legs reminds me of Hans Bellmer esque art and the guy in the pointy hat reminds me of the mighty Michael Hussar. The paleness of the pictures makes me feel like the imagery is dreamy.

Verdict- This Chris guy is a fantastic artist, one to watch.
